    base rock down here, from what I've seen, is still "live" it's just big round boulders. LFS's keep it same tank w/ good LR. just sell it for much cheaper.

    base: $1-1.50/lb
    LR: $5-9/lb

    base rock is usually dry sitting on a shelf around here.you still need some liverock to seed it.figi around me is going for $5 a pound
