I'm refinishing my basement and will be moving my tank downstairs. I'm trying to find the best place to incorporate my tank and was wondering if anyone had examples of basement setups. Preferably ones that don't require lugging buckets of water back and forth when doing water changes.

Im setting up my 250 in the basement. I refinished the basement with the purpose in mind of setting up a take down there. I have a utility sink i have my ro hooked up to and ran 1/4" line thru the wall into the laundry room to hook up my litermeter 3 to do top off and auto waterchanges.Hopefully by next weekend i will go camera happy and have some more progress to post, just got the tank down there today.

Here's an older vid of my basement setup. Please ignore my salt setup at that time. LOL. It was full of sea-thetic fake rock and some fake coral. I only had the tank for a few weeks and was still learning.

    Anyhoo, here goes.

One by one. Lol. The In-wall tank is now upstairs and is my reef tank. The small 22 salt is taken down. The 180 is still running though.

I do have a 50' hose for draining when doing a water change. I run it right my toilet. I only need to bring the water to the tanks in buckets.
