Battery Back-Ups...Who Uses Them?

    A standby generator is a great investment that will provide you and your family with reassurance for years! I have one and it's the best because I never have to worry about my fish, any of my animals, or my safety when the power goes out. It's a comforting feeling. Plus, it's safer than a typical generator because it's ran outside the house, not from the garage, so you don't have to worry about carbon monoxide entering your house. I suggest looking into one of those!

    Of course, that's not an immediate solution, so for now, I would look into some type of battery back up.

    Thanks for the great information guys!!! I think that a standby might be little much right now, but an emergency generator might be the ticket. I quickly looked online at them and they seem pretty reasonably priced. Thanks again!!!

    I have seen cheaper gas generators as low as 100 dollars recently.

    The gas generators are great when you have them tapped into your panel to kick on as soon as your main power goes out. I have a uncle that has it setup as houses in that area, including a house I have, have power issues during the winter season every year for as long as a week.
