green fuzzy more than likely. xenia do not have NEMATOCYSTs but they could also just push up on each other

xenia always wins. seems unaffected by anything; it will grow over favia, zoos and mush. if it can't win a fight and starts to die it can take lots with it too...

    Welcome to Reef Wars.

If you can't or just don't want to separate them, I'd highly recommend using a large amount of carbon to help keep any chemical warfare from affecting the entire tank (yes, even "non-stinging" corals will release irritants to ward off invasion from another species).

Are you taking bets or just trolling??

In the vast expanse of the deep blue sea, the chemical warfare between coral colonies remains very localized. However, in the confined space of an aquarium it can reach lethal levels for all tank inhabitants. I'd tend to take that just a little more seriously if it were my tank.

    Just sayin'
