I've been debating over putting up a little bigger tank so I can have a couple fish, so I will be starting up my old nano cube dx 12 gal pretty soon.. Its already drilled for a sump and am eager to have a bigger tank again only if it is only 12 gallon. i plan on using my 2.5 for a sump...

cool man, the only tank I have running right now is my 6g edge and all it has in it is a culture of pods I'm growing out to use to stock my 90 after my house sells and we move plan on setting back up the 90, 6 and probably getting another big tank like a 200+ gallon depending on the house

upgrading to a 12 gallon, baugherb
    that will be cool

one thing that I have noticed since doing my 1st Nano is that lighting options are just not as good for tanks under 24 inches (60cm) wide

That would be cool. Have you thought about the return pump at all?
