    I spray pained mine. I did one quick coat and let it dry then did many others until hubby thought it looks good. Looks like crap on the back but looks like a smooth silk background through the front of the glass :)

    I found a big piece of cardboard in the basement, cut it to size and painted it in the garage.. Actually looks pretty good. IMO.

    Wishing i would of bought my tank new. I am finding so many scratches that it is driving me crazy.

    I feel ya on that one

    I swapped my tank out August 2009 due to scratches
    I need to consider doing it again

    algae magnets even without sand, seem to put many fine scratches on the acrylic

    I'm gonna try and swindle a new tank for my birthday. Something a little bigger and I will drill and paint this one before putting it up.. Maybe a 55...
