BAYMAC - Saturday June 13th - San Jose, CA

I know there are more then a few 3Reefers out there semi close to San Jose, California.
We're putting on our second annual BAYMAC, a 100% volunteer driven FREE
reef conference this coming Saturday June 13th from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm
in San Jose, CA. We've got a stellar line up of (6) regional reef clubs, vendors,
exhibitors and (4) internationally recognized guest speakers. As usual we have
our meg-raffle where all the proceeds are split amongst the (6) reef clubs taking part.
You can't beat the price of admission, that's for sure

I will try to attend. Let me know if this is going to be a yearly thing. While we are small, RARS and myself would participate as well and would love to help out with anything possible. You guys are only 3 hours away, and California is are main source of local supplies anyhow

 

We plan on having BAYMAC2010 June 12th next year. I still need to confirm with the venue and grab the room next door as well since we're booked out the main hall this show

The more clubs taking part the better. That's a big part of my goal/mission with BAYMAC, to bring clubs together and give them a place to network at. The mission statement and home page say serving California but that's easily changed

I'll be making a much larger effort to contact reef clubs from outside of the area I have for the last two years. I also have plans on how I might get more LFS involved in the event.

 

We're proud to announce the addition of the first public viewing of the full short film by Ben Wiggins of time lapse high-magnification corals.
If you haven't seen the Montipora section it's a definite "must see" for any reefer Montipora on Vimeo
First viewing starts at 11:15am in the Guest Speaker room (2nd floor).
It can be seen again in between the Guest Speakers through out the day.
