Great Show!

I just got back and I must admit it was a little smaller than I expected, but there was alot of support! I figure there was a min of 6k sq ft of reef fun. Alot of cool door prizes and talks, I couldn't stay for the one I went there for but the information presented was A+ (K+ to Frank Burr & Richard Ross). Just by showing up there was alot of new product information from several companys and reef clubs there, got a free 8oz bottle of Purpleup just for showing up, and a package of frag plugs. A buddy of mine told me that some of the reef clubs were giving away frags even earlier! (Sorry I missed that!)

My camera didn't shoot to many people in the pix so I didn't post them, but some of the frag displays were really cool! (Posted a small album) Another nice thing is that a local LFS (which I never knew existed) was right next store and had its employees there helping out. Good feel, good info, good time, will be back next year! Thanks Gresham for keeping us posted on the event!

It was a bit smaller then many of us expected, 300 - 400 through out the day, but only off by 100 or so as I only wanted to double the first events attendance (baby steps). Next year will be much larger in all respects I'm thinking May right now.

The raffle brought in $1800 so each of the six reef clubs walked with $300 on top of their frag sales which was far from a poke in the eye by itself

 

I was totally supposed to go, and totally got sick instead!
