I just wanted to see if any other owners of BC29's have a Tunze 6025 in their biocubes? I have one in mine and have been playing with location for the flow.

Are you trying to beat my Tunze Turbelle in a 20 long madness? ;D

The smallest tank I know of here with that pump is Ziggy's 55.

How is it working out for you?

my tank has too much flow now.i'm going to remove the seio and just run the tunze.all was well at 1st but the 2 toadstools of mine hardly ever open now and have shrunk a bit.i will remove the seio as soon as i figure out how i'm going to position the tunze.by the way.the tunze 6025 is rated for a 53 gallon tank.

Well here is a pic. I have the Tunze placed so it is skimming that Live Rock next too it. This has stopped the sand drifts I was getting on the sandbed. I had a Seio 620 and it didn't seem like it provided enough flow and it was bulky. I love the flow of the Tunze! I have my main return pump criss-crossing the Tunze flow to break it up a bit.

you probably know this but you take take the whole cover off the seio to make it smaller, and adjust its flow, and replace the imo large mounts with a magnet mount.

Yes, I am aware of that. With the Tunze I have no need for a 2nd powerhead. But it is good to have a backup powerhead ;D

I had a tunze 6025 in my bc29...almost same position as yers...to the left maybe 2 inches and pointed down a little more. Worked nice, mine also broke when i took it off but i super glued the holder back together and its still holding for my buddy. I gave him the bc when i set my 90 up.

thats not all that broke.the 4 tabs that hold it to the magnet are all gone two.its ok though.i'll buy or request a new clamp, clean it up and sell it on ebay.its too powerfull for my small tank.i put the seio back in the tank and everything is really polyped
