    There no point in "seeding' it. The cycle process will result in bacteria anyways.. If you are going to use beach sand, save your money and don't buy "live" sand. It's really a waste of money.

    lol indeed....ill b gettn it from a private beach so no dogs :)....as far as seeding im takn some sand outa my reef tank mabe a cup or 2....this is goin in a small tank

    no way most breach sand and water is filled with toxcins this is why u are not supose to use water from the beach u may be thinking then what is natural sea water well it is sea water but they get it from out in deep water and even then u can get toxicins

    well i hapend to have home depot sand in my aquerium... and is osome o yea!@!!! but you have ot be carefull read befor you by i live in florida and not all home depot have tha same kind of sand i have found a sand down here the comes from florida and is 100%quars is pure white like britewhite... and berry fine it looks like sugar this sand has berry low cilica but wend your tank cicles the dytons will eat it all up the have like 3-4 kind of sand just read the lable and is sheap to i love this sand
