    Hi guys/gals,

Here's my SPS dominant 30 cube.

    Tank details:
    Oceanic 30 cube
    CPR Aeroforce 2 skimmer
AC30 HOB filter run with GFO and purigen
    AI Sol Blue
    MP10W ES
    RKE controller

    Supplements:
ALK/CA added daily via 2 part (Brightwell Reef Code) (~9/~450)
    Mag added via Aquavitro (weekly)

15% WC are done every other week with RODI and Red Sea Coral Pro

A little history; the tank was originally lit with T5s. I'm in the process of setting up a 180 and decided to experiment with lighting on the cube before committing to it on a larger scale with the 180. I removed the T5s and replaced it with an AI Sol Blue. Things were great the first week and then some corals promptly browned out (see corals at top of tank). My tank basically stopped calcifying and I kept dosing as normal and had some serious issues as my ALK shot to 13.5 (hanna) and my CA went to around 500(Elos). After I got this under control I continued to monitor and keep my levels in the ranges I like them in and before to long things started to come around. Corals that were originally brown under T5 have turned baby blue while others have turned green. I'm seeing great improvements in color every week now and I hope things continue getting better. The ALK/CA consumption of the tank is getting back to where it was too so that's a good sign. I think in another month or so things will be at the best the tank has been as both the corals are better adjusted and the levels of the Sol are at their peak. I'm currently running them at 50/57/57 and have plans to stop around 70/85/85 or thereabout. I also run a moderately deep sand bed at around 3" and run my vortech in blue mode at 100%.

Tank is fed twice a day (mostly pellet with Rods Food every other night).

    Known corals:
    Oregon tort
    teal turaki
    ORA Hawkins Ench
    Various seriatopora
    A. millipora
    A. loripes
    M. digitata
    ORA tricolor valida
A handful of other SPS that I'm not 100% sure of
    frogspawn
    torch
    zoas
    Acans
    war
    ORA red gonipora
    ORA Green sinularia
    ORA grubes gorgonian

I'll keep updating photos as I get good ones....

This is showing the new growth under the Sols. Check out how nice and blue this growth is. Hope the entire coral turns this color!

Sorry about the mess on the tank floor. I'm acclimating a new arrival to LEDs so things are a bit messy.

Bought this as an experiment. I want to see if it can hold it's color under LED and if it can't - what color it will turn. I'm moving it up and will place it 10" under the waterline directly under the Sols. Should be interesting...

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

    Nice tank

I have a quick question for you, What are the dimensions of your cube and about how far down do you have that mp10? i ask because we have very similar tanks and im just trying to compare for the positioning of my mp10.
