    Unfortunately that is not meant for a reef tank (actually freshwater as the description says). If you are on a budget, a Reef Breeders value fixture might provide enough coverage and certainly be enough light for any corals you would want.

    I agree with Marshall,the .20 diodes are not strong enough to penetrate the water well and the overall spectrum would not work well for corals.It would be better to spend more and buy a light that will work well for you than to go cheaper only to find you need to upgrade.The reefbreeders fixtures are a good inexspensive choice for led.
