So as many of you know, I had emergency surgery to remove my soon to rupture appendix. That was yesterday morning, and after getting home today, i took two 325 mg oxycodone, and hit my mom up for the LFS. I must say, a great idea on my part. We came back with a new Naso Tang, a 4 inch stingray, 2 chromis (replace 2 that had died), 2 new T5HO bulbs, and a big pack of frozen sand eels for the ray. :) I am drip acclimating the ray right now and re-doing the rock structure to give him more sand to swim over and play in. He was eating well at the lfs and is really playful! The Naso has great color and is also really active!

Very nice. I definitely want a ray eventually. Just want to give it a nice big tank.

    Can't wait to see pics.

I love my new ray. It is a 90 gallon so in a few years he may outgrow it but I couldnt help myself he was just so happy looking, and I got him for a great price. I will post pics soon and disappoint again with my crappy camera phone :/.

    Congrats!

However, even for a 4" ray the 90 is too small and will outgrow it in less than a few years.

The ray I got isnt supposed to get much larger. I have looked all over the internet for what kind he is to prove this but I can't seem to find the info. Ill try and get the scientific name next time i am there. my lfs is brutally honest, so honest i get more depressed when i go there than satisfied haha and they told me i would be fine as long as i keep him with the right tank mates and feed him well.
