I got transferred for my job back in April. I took everything down to move and am beginning to set everything up again. It's basically going to be a new build. I traded almost all of my livestock in because I didn't want to put everything through a 6+ hour drive. I have kept a couple of frags and about 25-30lbs of LR in a 10gallon with a small CUC.

Like I said it is basically a new build. After getting some experience with the old setup I am going to do things a little different this time. I drilled the tank and am going to do a bean overflow on this one. I know it seems overkill, but I like the idea of an internal overflow and the redundancy a bean provides. There was just something about a U-tube that always worried me.

The tank is drilled and bulkeheads are in. I have dry-fitted most of the plumbing and ordered glass for the overflow box and sump baffles yesterday. Once that is in and cured, it will be time for sand, rock, and cycling again.

I can't wait to get everything going again;D

    So here's a quick update.

The tank is drilled and the plumbing is all laid out. Most of the plumbing is now glued, I just need to finish a couple of pieces. I just need to silicone the overflow box into the tank and I'll be done.

I also redesigned the sump and used glass baffles this time. I also changed the return and fuge section this time. Before I just barely had enough room in the sump to catch and back flow if the pump shut off. This new setup should aleviate that issue.

Should be able to aquascape it and get water in it pretty soon!

Here's a couple of pics of the progress.

Wow. Great job Rico - that looks fantastic.
I used to have a 30 long, great nano tank there.

It has the same dimensions of a 40 breeder for the length and height, but the 40 is 6" wider. This one is 36x12x15

Thanks for the compliments so far. I was pretty surprised at how well my plumbing came out. I got one stick of PVC and with good measuring/planning I only had a 2" piece leftover. I was going to use a static cling background, but after looking at it I decided I'm going to paint the back black. I don't think the static cling will lay down right around the bulkheads.
