befor i make my choice i wana hear the opions

i wana hear everyone's opion on the easiest and best and ik way to add kalkwasser (ik what most will say to this but also would like the least expensive to)

i wana know why you say its the best and easiest, doing this research for my first reef tank

first, how big is your tank now or is going to be? IMO, until you get the tank up and rolling, just dripping it is easy (and a lot cheaper)

In my 125g (that was just getting established in SPS) I just dripped pickling lime in overnight.

In my smaller tanks (my 29g sps tank) we are just dosing 2 part with addition of mag daily. As it is so small it is easy to just pour a few capful everyday in. We are having a hard time keeping the kh up (as we are packed full of sps and challice in prep of putting bigger tank back up) we are having to dose 2x recommended dose 2x day instead of once a day, so we are going to start dripping pickling lime into that also.

 

It will be a 40 gallon breeder with a 20 gallon sump and does the kalwasser need to be doesed directly to tank or go into a resivor to pumped in by the ato

 

a tank that size.......you could save yourself a lot of money just dosing. Just my opinion.

Ok what type of pump would you use to draw from the contianer to the sump if I go with that way. And what other ways of doesing are there

 

I use a small 75gph hydor nano! $15
