    I have a 40 gallon fowlr, with a hob protein skimmer, 300+ watts of T5 light, a couple of clowns and CuC. what would be a few good LPS or soft corals to start out with?

    easy corals to maintain IME are

    GSP
    Zoanthids
    Shrooms
    Yellow Polyps
    Clove polyps
    Anthellia
    Toadstool leathers
    Finger leathers
    Mouse eared or cabbage leathers

    What kind of lighting? Individual reflectors? bulbs? just want an idea of your PAR.

    You should be fine keeping:

    Mushrooms (any)
    zoanthids (any)
    leather corals
    kenya tree
    almost any softies really will be ok.

    Frogspawn
    Hammers
    elegance
    torch
    acans
