    Corailline just another question for you ... Im going away for 14days about 4 weeks after I start the cycle is it a problem if I dont add a CUC until i return ?

    Nope not at all.

    I once went away for 6 weeks on vacation and let my tank cycle the whole time. It was good I left town because I would have probably messed with it too much.

    On that vacation I took some good books on the hobby like The Reef Aquarium volume I.
