    I've told you guys that we collect antique fish tanks and accessories before. Well, we just picked up three more tanks and a butt load of old filters and decor, etc.;D
    Apparently the previous owner decided to replace one pane of glass with a much thinner sheet that had no place on a fish tank to begin with:-/. Age that about 30 years and Viola! We have a busted tank:wreck: and three of my fingers paid the price for his stupidity. :-[
    Luckily Im on some good pain meds cause a glass shard went straight through my middle finger and cut the bone.:eek: It sliced a large vein and I got to see a crimson geyser up close in person....I shall never have to go to Yellowstone Park now.
    I apologize to those who are sensitive, but I needed to vent a little and share one good reason to always ALWAYS make sure you use a good thick pane of glass when repairing your tanks. :skull:Luckily the pic is kinda blurry so it looks a little better than it does in real life.
    On the bright side, I got a few days off of work because of it and I got to flip off my managers (Only to show them my wound of course....::):finger:)

    Thank you Steve. Won't know the full extent of the damage until it starts to heal. I wasn't able to bend the top joint at the moment so we aren't sure if it nabbed the tendon or not. With luck hopefully it missed it, but if it did cut it, its only the top of my finger.

    that is totally gross but in a compelling way:) if you did flip someone off, well that would be doing it in total style. sorry for your unfortunate incident and hope it heals quickly.

    Yup, that's what I thought too. Flipped em all off just for a kick, lol. I was all foggy from pain meds and wobbly from blood loss so I musta been a sight.:p

    It was....only because my meds are kickin in....Lol. You have no Idea how long it took to write.

    Thank you....Hope to Triton it wouldn't take 30yrs to heal...Im gonna need a LOT more painkillers, lol!
