    Very nice! But I am about 95 percent sure they are not blue hornets. They look like African steels to me

    They might be, but they have morphed a little under the lighting. They were under MH's when I got them and I have them under LED's Blues/Whites only.

    alot of people sell them as blue horneys. they are great looking either way

    Cosmo asked me to post pics of my LED's, I put together a Phoenix 45 kit from reefledlights.com' it was very simple. I bought the solder-less kit and put the unit together in about 4 hours time. I programmed the light settings via my Apex. The lights run max 80% blue, 60% white, 10% high noon whites. I use 2 Apex unit moon lights which you can see I mounted to the underside of the plexi. The wiring could be a little better, bu from the viewing angle you can not see any wires except the single 7 braid strand running from the lights to the drivers which are mounted under the stand. I also still need to cut off the steel braid that I was going to hang the lights with. I opted to go with nylon rope. Anyways here are the pics.
