The sand: I ordered it online from marine depot. They also have it at Dr foster and smith. It looks ALOT better under water, trust me. When I was rinsing it, the grains were tiny, very black and clean, so smooth and sexxay. When its dry, it seems to reflect and look shiny.

@ Ashevillian: Thanks but I really like the look of my sandbed so far, it seems to be 1- 1.5" high and enough for now...so I think I'm gonna keep it at 20 lbs.

Ahhh, I am dying trying to wait for the other freaking stuff to get here!!! I just hope the Rio6 HF return pump isn't loud. If so, I'll have to get the maxi jet 1200 I hear so much about.

Currently, everything is fine except the little fan cooling the MH light. OMG, it is kinda loud and annoying. So I ordered a 40mm fan.

Boom, its been awhile but my tank is looking good. I stocked it with biospira and added a fish, then added more.

    Current stock:
    5 scarlet hermit crabs
    1 blood shrimp
1 albino looking pistol shrimp, paired with 1 yellow watchman goby
1 hi fin ray banded goby- wouldn't pair with goby, :(
    2 clowns
    1 bengaii cardinal

coral- goniopora, don't know what kind

well, seems like I'm fully stocked fish-wise, lol

man I want to add sps corals so bad....

the hi-fin red banded goby WILL pair, that's what I have in my tank, it just took him about a month or two - however since you already have a watchman goby paired up, he is probably too afraid. they are small very shy and cautious fish. i bet your watchman is too big and grumpy looking to make the banded goby think it's okay to share a borrow. poor fish, :(

here is mine saying hello and thank you after last night's supper!

Lol The hi fin goby was my 1st addition to tank. He survived a huge nitrite spike, lol (tough trooper.) When I added my yellow watchman last week, the watchman would try to back his butt into the hi fin's burrow but the hi fin kept nipping at him, haha.

So then the yellow watchman was exiled and forced to explore and within 15 min, found my pistol and they've been together since (so cute). Just got home and saw my pistol snapping AT my hi-fin goby, which is really funny.
