Best 14k bulb?

    I'm looking to switch from Ushio 10k 250 watt bulbs for a bulb with a little more blue, but not TOO MUCH blue. I've heard positive reviews about the phoenix 14k but I've also heard they're too blue. Anyone have any input on the subject?

    I started with Reeflux 10k. I now have Phoenix 14k and it looks great.

    I run ushio 14k and they are more of an icy white. On my other tank I run Phoenix 14k and they have more blue but it's not too blue. I know my halides and you don't wanna go with anything other than those two, radiums, or SPS bulbs.

    2nd Dingo (W'sup Dingo?), Phoenix 14K will give a slight bluer "pop" to your corals but not too much blue. Right on the fringe of white going to blue (sorta?).
    Other 14K's have not been like this. Radium$, well, some day when I win the lottery.

    I just bought 2 Phoenix MH 14k today and they will come in the mail on Friday!! I can't wait to see what they look like! :)

    Sorry im a little confused with the above statement:confused:..when you say dont go with anything other than those two,are you referring to the phoenix and ushio or the radiums and sps bulbs..I ve heard good things with the sps bulbs...just wanna know,as I too need to replace my halide bulbs but the last set I bought was 175 14k cheapos from flea-bay(didnt have the cash at the time)(but they were not to bad)..and was looking for something much better this time around..Thanks..
    EDIT NEVER MIND READ DINGO` HALIDE Q&A and got the answer..great read btw..
