    Hey all,

Thinking about getting an anemone for my two Tomato clowns, are there any that are better than others as far as this species for clownfish goes?

Thanks for any and all help!

Mine love BTAs and LTAs. My female dove into my LTA after about 5 minutes of me putting the anenome in the tank.

dont gt a sebae either. they will host it, but the sebae will dye in about 3 months after getting it. BTA or LTA are youre best bet.

sebaes are just one of those mysterious invertbrates that need something we havent figured out yet. most are dyed white to look better than there brown zooxanthea. so there bleached and dying when purchased. i bought my LTA bleach, OMEGA bleached. it was all white and has now since gotten green tips and brown tentacles llike it should. a sebae nomally wouldnt make this type of back to life transformation.

it has also been said (i dont know about tested) that anemones do better without the DI cartridges that we use. so RO is better for them (evidentally). i only use Ro and my LTA is big and happy. ill try and find some before and ater photos for you. ifyou want.

My sebae was maybe 4+ inches when i bought it, then after the first month it was about 2''. It refused to hold on to anything and slowly got smaller until it was the size of a quarter then it came apart... such a shame

Just great! Lol! I bought a sebae this weekend. :)

Seems to be doing well though, and came with a crab!
