Best Backdrop Color (Aesthetic)

I did this as well, navy blue paint, went on nicely ... and I think it looks great.

Black was too dark, the blue was too light ... settled with Navy, and its the color I will paint every reef in the future.

Almost black under normal lighting



Bright under reef lighting. I let coraline cover the pane of the overflow, I didn't want to risk paint on the inside where water would be resting.

I have deep blue acrylic laminated to the back of my tank.
