Best bulb set for a planted tank

    Im getting a 4 bulb fixture and was wondering what the best bulb combo would be for optimum growth and eye appeal. Im completely new to T5 lighting lo its a 55 gallon tankl

    Get 2 6500K daylight bulbs, a pink or red bulb like the UVL Actninc White and an ATI Aquablue Special. Run a 6500K and the red bulb on your longest time setting and use the other two for a midday burst. If you are going to use all 4 at once then you will want the fixture a foot above the tank at least.

    On fosters and smith im having trouble finding all those. What site do you recommend?

    I would run no longer than 10 hours for your long setting 2 to 4 hours for midday burst.
