Without a doubt, Curt--Bob Dylan is as cool as cats come.

One could argue that point. I went to one of his concerts. He came out stoned. Didn't say a word, sat down and played some songs. Turned his chair around and put his back to the audience for quite a few songs. He finally turned around to face us again. He got to his last song and he left without saying a word to the audience for an entire concert. He put very little gusto into his songs....it was VERY CLEAR he didn't want to be there. Unfortunately I paid a lot of money for those tickets so I was going to stay to the end....lots of other people left though.

For some people - you may well just have defined "cool"

I was a Pistols fan, I would have preffered them to be facing away from me LOL

    I thought you were a MOD. :)

(Let's see how many youngsters have a clue about what I'm saying)

Are mods still around, I thought they went the way of the hippie and dodo? Maybe just an underground sub-culture now?

In the famous words of Ringo Starr--"I'm a mocker."

Does that work for ya, Curt?

I have respect for his talents. With that said, I no longer have respect for the man.

You're a little young. Back in the "Olden Days" in England there were Mods and there were Rockers. Rockers would listen to music like the Pistols but not Mods. It was a bit of a mess. Either way, it was a lame joke. Steve is a Mod on 3Reef so I was teasing him that he was a Mod back then too. Hey, I admitted it was lame. ::)

. . And I think you missed my point, Curt. In the movie, "Hard Day's Night" with The Beatles, Ringo is asked, "Are you a mod, or a rocker?" And he replies without missing a beat (no pun intended), "I'm a mocker."
