It isnt a bad price, but you are going to get equipment that they cant sell. That skimmer isnt going to work for your 150g and you are buying it still. Same with pumps, you might get cheap pumps that work alright for a few months and then it cant get water back up to tank and then you have to buy another. The best thing is to find a cheap used tank and buy better pumps and skimmer. If you need help doing the setup, their is tons of info and plenty of people here to help guide you. Everbody is here to learn and help.

Okay, thanks a million! You just saved me lots of money. I just want to do this right and have a great system. I sure am glad I found this site!! Do you think a 30 gal aquarium would work for my 150 tank? Also, if I want to do the refuge what size would I need for that? This is what I mean, I am lost when it comes to this sort of thing. I never was very good with math..

I would say a 30 would be fine, but I am not 100% sure. You want to have enough room for your water to back flow down when you shut your tank off mostly. And then worry about your filters / skimmers area, they will take up a portion of room and your fuge will be about the same. Look up refugiums and read. Most people dont have huge sump/ fuge.
