Since there is 6 bulbs I was wondering what bulbs to get. The ones that it came with are terrible.
My tank consists of mainly soft and a few hard corals.

I like the UVL bulbs. In terms of what spectrum, I prefer the 420nm actinics and between 12000K and 14000K daylight. I like my tank on the bluer side. Makes the coral colors pop better.

I went with this combination right off the bat. I was warned the current bulbs were bad. The bulbs from back to front are
    ATI Blue Plus
    Giesemann Aqua Blue+
    Aqua Science Special 15000 K
    Giesemann Midday
    Giesemann Aqua Blue+
    ATI Blue Plus.

The Aqua Science and Giesemann Midday were substitutes for a UV 75.25 and GE Starcoat respecively because the place I ordered from were out of those. I tried to replicate the setup I found here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1083336&perpage=25&pagenumber=12

I wanted the same lighting that JerseyWendy is using in her tank.

i bought mine from here. Aquarium Specialty

Great customer service. Fast shipping and the bulbs were packaged really well. Can't say they're the best place to order from. Was a little unhappy that they were out of stock on two of the bulbs I wanted.

Is it safe to put a 95 watt into this unit?

I just read on their website that the Novas do not recommend these bulbs for these units

Huh, I wonder why? I would maybe call and ask. The UVL T5 bulbs are excellent. I use 2X UVL 420nm bulbs with a 1400k MH in my fixture and love the spectrum. So do my corals :D

If the manufacturer also sells bulbs, they want you to buy their products vs other companies. It may not have anything to do with safety, but I don't know for sure.
