    Howdy all,

I've read many things about different types of macros for a refugium. I'm curious to know if anyone knows if a combo of green and red macro works well? I've seen a few "natural" tanks recently and they claim to have great success with Chaetomorphia and some Red Gracilaria. I've used Chaeto with success, but am wondering what I can do to create a better environment.

Don't know just trying to get input, does one suppliment the other perhaps? I'm not a fan of caulpera, and I've seen two LFS get closed briefly herein Santa Clara county due to the Ban on it...

So just trying to get inputs for the best combo for the most nutrient export, and balance. Currently running ATS, RDSB, LR, and Chaeto.

    Any constructive sugjestions are welcome!

2 suggestions for you Da Gopher boy and hopefully you find them constructive

1 - check out PharmrJohns tank thread as he recently added a few new macros to his system
2 - check out John Maloneys site / threads as reef cleaners offer a range of macros and can offer many suggestions
