Best Coral for Beginner?

    Yes very very true. Corals will grow bigger just like your fish will. Keep that in mind. Not only do they grow they also propagate at will sometimes. I bought this small leather toadstoll and he is now 8" wide at the top and growing everyday and her baby is 2" tall and growing. I started with a 65g tank then quickly outgrew that and got a 120g and then finally to the 210g that I have now. Thank goodness I have the room now or my fish would be strangled by the corals. Here is a picture of that coral behind the solar wrasse and the baby is in the lower left hand corner.

    rics are very easy. zoas are tremendously easy. if you can keep a bta though, you can keep just about any coral you want. they are pretty difficult

    We have green star polyps, xenias, four different kinds of zoas, different mushrooms, and a pink plate coral they are doing great. We are pretty new to corals and that's what we have started with so far. We have no skimmer and our water parameters stay perfect with 10% water changes each week and our tank is 15 years old.
