    OK, for those that don't follow me, sorry, but I'm screaming this everywhere. I'm the proud daddy of a 8 year old and have been pretty much a single dad for 8 years. His mom pops in once a year, if that, forgets his bdays and xmas, and generally just has made his and my life he!!. Well, today, she signed over all rights, all visitation and made it hard on her to rescind that. I know this is generally not ideal, but in this case it is. Now I have lawyer money free'd up for us and the tanks, and my stress level just went down around 1000%.

    So sorry, but woohoo, it is truly one of the best days of my life, my son and I can now move forward and not have to look over our shoulders.

    thank you all very much, and curt, sad to say it is, I wish it were different for my son, but sometimes a dad has to protect his family and those that harm it, and you can only cover for those people that refuse to help themselves for so long before you can't let them take everyone down with them.

    But anyways, my son has long since moved on, now, we just get to be happy 365 and can avoid the drama every now and then and let down at xmas and bdays;)

    Let me just say that you have to be one amazing person to effectively raise a little boy by yourself. Great job buddy. I know, personally, there is no way I would be able to do it. That little guy really has someone he can look up to and be proud of. God Bless You!
