    I have two new perculas, looking for the best diet for them...

    Any ideas?

    flakes should be the basic diet unless you buy some kind of vitamin dip for frozen food.
    but remember that the more varied a diet is the healthier the animal

    they should eat anything an everything ;) Heck I hand fed mine a little pot roast last night :D I know I am getting flamed for that one...

    Hey, I was eating a sammich watching the tank, and they wanted some. Wanted to see what would happen. Boy did the go for it.

    I also just want to say, that I am in no way shape or form suggesting this as an actual diet.

    Mine get fed home made food, consisting of mysis, brine, squid, clams, prawns, scallops, and broccoli, soaked in garlic, vitamin c, and selcon. Seems happy enough with that ;) They also go for all the dried seaweed on the clip with the tang.

    i feed my fish omega one flake food once a week and emerald entree once a week.

    i only have a bicolored blenny but omega one is loaded with HUFAs

    I feed mine daily and alternate between frozen and pellets.

    Frozen I feed mysis, brine, krill, SW multi-pack and for pellets I feed Hikari and Omega One.

    They wont touch the sea weed I put in for the urchin.

    I caught that damsel using Arby's corned beef reuben as bait, man he went nuts!
