    I have about $1000 to spend on a filter set up for a 90 gal tank with two corner over flows.If you all could do it right the first time what filter setup would you get. thanks::)

    Typically a Reef tank consists of Live Rock and a good Skimmer for filtration. There is little need for any other type of mechanical filtration

    I would get a sump/refug combo tank like this one;

    Your only going to be up-grading in the short/long run and spending more money. Do it right from the get-go. What ever you decide to do, keep us posted........with pics of course. Luna

    A. sump
    B. return pump(don't go over the gph of the overflows its just wasting money).
    C. hose or pipes for plumbing.
    D. GOOD protein skimmer
    E. refugium if not included in the sump(your gonna want one with the tank your setting up guessing from the sump and filter allowance).
    F. cheap lighting for the refugium(shouldn't be more then 70 dollars, PC or T5(preferred))

    optional micron filter for the overflow returns(must be set up in a way if it clogs it won't stop the return, so a lil holder for it that the water pours into is perfect)
