What is the best food for angelfish? I have a flame and a lemonpeel that pick all day at the rock, but when I feed the tank it doesnt look like they are eating anything I put in there.

I have put in frozen cube of brine, a mix of stuff like marine cuisine...all soaked in garlic with small pieces of seaweed cut up too!

What can I give them that they will like?

How long have you had them? When I first got my CB, he only picked at the rock but did not eat anything I put into the tank. After about a week though he started eating and now eats anything I put into the tank. I did buy some frozen angel fish food which he seems to like, but he also likes blood worms, flake, mysis etc.

Try brine with spirulina. The spirulina may entice them to eat it. Mine loves the stuff. Also, are you giving them seaweed? Ocean Nutrition has seaweeds with garlic. They are a bit more expensive than nori, but I like the added garlic to entice the fish to eat it. Mine took about a month before he would eat the stuff, but I kept putting it in the tank everyday, and he finally started eating it. And now he loves it!

I didn't know Hikari made an angel formula. I need to try to find that. I tried the ON kind too and my fish were less than impressed, though I haven't tried it again.
