Best goby for a beginner

    Hey I really want a green clown goby but I called around to a couple places and both said they are hard to get to eat and need pods?

    so whats the best preferably cheap goby for a beginner

    My tank is open top

    i have a royal gramma and a ocerilous clown fish

    sand sifting goby, watchman goby are easy to keep and are pretty cheap.

    Gobies are jumpers, so you might want a lid.

    I've heard different things about clown gobies. Some people say they are easy and good for beginners, and others say they are hard to get eating.

    I think a watchman goby would be a good choice. They are pretty cool! Not big swimmers, but it would occupy a different space in your tank than your clown and gramma.

    i have a clown goby starving itself right now. i'm trying to feed it everything and it's not working either. i keep waiting to find it dead. concentration camp fish.

    They do jump. I'd imagine they would eat what your other guys eat. Just make sure to buy one that's already eating well.
