They're not as sexy as protein skimmers or Metal Halide lights but I suppose that a good heater or 2 is still important.

What are the best heater models out there? I'm going to need a few for a large tank.

Titanium heaters are more reliable and dont have the problems associated with the cheaper Bi Mettalc strip models (sticking in on position)

Just make sure you have an external controller/thermostat. The built in ones are horrible and tend to get stuck on. AFAIK there aren't any that are 100% reliable although maybe there is a range of failure rates, I don't know though.
I like the titanium ones because I don't like the idea of glass in my tank. I use Finnex ones without the built in thermostat on a controller.

What I use, cant say a bad word about it except that if you have a power outage it defaults back to 81 degrees. Haven't figured out a way to change this as I keep my tank at 79
