I have 2 places it can go: the first has about 5x6" space and the other 9x10" and it's 24" to the top of the cabinet. If it can use a mag 7 that would be nice then I could use the return pump but that's no biggie really.
From my research it looks like these are all good ones: Pacific Marine; AquaC; Turboflotor; Euro Reef; ASM; Vertex; Octopus; and Coralife. Which is best? I would like one that's easy to clean and easy to tune. I have a 20 gallon sump which is probably about 10" high (I'm not at home right now.) Under $200 is a must. I am not going to overstock but want one that works after my sea clown fiasco lol. Thanks and all the best ya'll!

coralife would be easy to set up in-sump.

The smaller eShopps is very nice and has a small footprint.

SWC Cone 120 model would be an excellent option for you, just check the sponsor swcskimmers....

Just order one they will be getting more soon or check with other suppliers, but they are great skimmers, several of my friends have them as well as myself ( the 160 cone myself) but same skimmer just larger. Up to you but you won't regret it.

I hear the 160 has like 2x the chamber size. You really think this is the best skimmer for my needs? What about the asm g1, octopus and similar. Is this better?

The160 will work for you as well but probably overkill. Not much larger footprint, but it is bigger, larger cone , collection cup etc. I think it would still work but what I meant is just order the 120 if that is the one you want and they will ship out as soon as the get them.

Bubble magus are similar but I have never seen them side by side to compare to, octopuses are in the same category as well. You will probably be happy with all of them, but when I was buying mine I liked the look, and pump on the swc line the best. And I have been totally satisfied with purchase, not many purchases I can say that about, which is why I was giving my opinion... :)
