    I am not sure what the policies are as far as staying in the dorms over breaks. That's why I was considering an AIO setup. I see what you mean though. I guess I will have to look into it a bit more.

    Picos are a whole different monster as far as reefing goes. My 3 gallon was borderline impossible in comparison to the bigger systems I have kept. They require so much time and school will take up the majority of your time. I just filled my reefing fix by lurking on 3reef even though I didnt have any salt water at the time. Haha.

    Well that's part of the reason I thought about starting it sooner than later. I would only need 1 par30 (instead of the 3 for my 29) and I could see how difficult it may be to keep coral in a pcio. If it works, great. If I'm not up for the challenge, I'll move the light and coral over to my 29. I think it would be better to find out now, than to have to worry about problems when it's too late.
