Just wondering if there is someplace better than F&S for ordering stuff. I have to get some flatworm exit, because all the treatments that the LFS's around here sell have not worked. Most of them say that they are having trouble getting stuff in stock from salifert. Any suggestions?

BTW it cost $10 to ship a 10ml bottle of flatworm exit from F&S. that's insane.

I hate to tell you but thats pretty much the going rate anywhere, but you can get up to 150 dollars worth of stuff for that 10 bucks.

I checked Ebayand there are 3 listings for it ranging in price 16.99 to 21.99 and shipping from 8.50 to 13.50....

Only if you request overnight or priority mail I would think? USPS first class mail wouldn't cost you that much so unless you need it right away, I don't even see you having to pay half that for a box of Flatworm Exit.

No trust me, I buy almost everything not only from home but at work online and going rate for shipping even something a small as that is 8.95 to 10.95, check it out. Very rarely can you find it any cheaper.

I know about the post office, you cant find anyone that uses the post office anymore, if they did they could ship something like that Via priority and it cost 4.95 and gets there usally within 2 or 3 days. And the boxes are FREE to boot. And up to 10 lbs for 8.95 if it will fit in a 8x8x10 box.

And as he said the other problem is getting it, almost everyone has been having issues getting anything from salifert for months now. They had some quality issues a few months back on some of their Calcium and Ammonia kits but now its hard to find most anything. My LFS stopped carrying their stuff completely, but thats not an issue cause they were so out of line with price i never bought that stuff from them.

I just can't see paying $30 for this stuff. I guess I will if I have to but I'm not happy about it!

Best place to order anything Reef Keeping related (besides forum sponsors) is DFS.

Hope whatever problem you are having soon works outs.

    Good luck!
