I'm using a koralia 1 in a 24g nano and it combined with the stock pump is more than enough flow, 2 of these would be way overkill

I just checked my transactions and it turns out I purchased my nano from him. His shipping was really, really quick and it was packaged tight.

I would have to respectfully disagree. With the two K-1s he is only at 28x just off the top of my head. I am running a K-nano in my 10g and feel it is not near enough and I am at 26x total in that set up. My main tank is at 35x (2600GPH in 75g) and it could go a little higher. I was thinking about putting a K-1 in the back center just to add some more wave action.

I should ask......what other powerheads do you have running?

i am only running the tank with the stock pump. no powerheads yet. i just dont really like the look of powerheads in the tank (but i know i need more water movement). could i frag some coral say star polyps and attach them to the powerhead and in time the new growth would disguise them? good/bad idea?

I agree with john ^ :) I have a 40 gallon tank. I have 2 koralia 1's (800gph), a mech filter pumping 325gph, and a skimmer pumping 225gph. Totals 1350gph, which is a 33.75X turnover rate. I am still experiencing some deadspots and symptoms of not enough flow. I am going to be adding 2 additional koralia 2's, for another 1200gph, as my main flow, and my koralia 1's for spot flowing the corals and eliminating deadspots. This will give a 63.75X turnover rate. This is still considered mild to medium flow for a reef tank. I know of people with 80x and above turnover rates. Ive even seen a 55 gallon with 7 powerheads, the SMALLEST being a Koralia 1. 2 Koralia 1's in a 29 gallon is no where near overkill. In reality, it would most likely be considered low-medium to medium flow.

I wouldn't see how it would work, the powerhead needs to be un-obstructed to work.
In time they will be covered with coralline, little bits of this and that... they will basically kind of dis-appear into the tank. Specially with a bio-cube, as I believe the entire back of the tank is black plastic anyways, right?

I don't know about that. It seems to me that the heat generated by the pumps would not be condusive to perky polyps. Also, the mat would mess with the flow. They are kind of like a fan. If you plug up the back of a fan, very little comes out the front. Coralline is growing all over mine (started immediately) and the top is almost covered. I have seen Koralias that are completely covered with coralline and it looks very nice. I, too, like the idea of things being disguised.

two of my #3s are completely covered with coraline, I would add two #1s, my buddy added a #1 to a 24 gallon aquapod, i think he could of used the #2 instead but he can always add another #1
