    Maxi-Jet Utility Pump. Either 4500 or 5500 pumps would be great. They are extremely quiet, very reliable, and have a 3 year warranty.

    I have had several of this type of pump over the years and they are all still pumping strong.

    The Ocean Runner 3500 or Eheim 1262 are much better pumps than the Mags. Lower heat generation, lower power consumption and much quieter. Both are very popular choices, I use four OR pumps in my systems and wouldn't have any other in that price range.

    Eheim are excellent pumps. I run a tunze silence on my 75 and i don't hear it. Even when my head is inches from the pump.

    I've used QuietOne, Rio, and MagDrive pumps. Never had issues with any of them.

    Models specifically were QuietOne 4000, Rio 3100, MagDrive 12 and 18.

    I have a Mag but after looking at all the pumps mentioned I think I will go with the Tunze Silence if I need to replace my Mag.
