Best RO/DI

I need to order my RO/DI this week and would like the best.;D Does anyone have any thoughts on Air,Water,Ice Typhoon III extreme versus the units from Bulk Reef Supply? Is there anything else I should consider?

 

Not a good question to ask me right now. My TIII is still not working..

I have a typhoon III, its never given me any problems, had it for just over a year.

 

I have the bulk reef supply 7 stage RO/DI system. It ownz I think they have the best customer service, cause im always calling wanting this and that. They tell me its a waste of money, i dont need to buy more stuff lol.

they dont make the 7 stage model but if u call them and ask them to put one together, they'll ship you one

Most RODI units are made of pretty similar materials, just make sure you're getting good quality filters and good fittings. I don't have any experience with Air, Water, Ice but tons of people use them so I assume they must do something right.
I'm a huge BRS fan though, I've never had a bad experience with any of their products and everything seems to be of very high quality and great prices.
Just make sure you get at least 4 stages (one DI) and a dual TDS meter, the auto-shutoff kit from BRS makes life a ton easier and for like $20 it's worth it to not have to worry about floods.

The replacement fast flush valve just came in and I will be testing it. Hopefully my problem goes away.


Dufresne, are you only using the RO/DO output or do you also use the RO only out ?

I ust the 5 stage plus from bulk reef supply with the level lock top off. I think they are running a special this month, they will upgrade you to a dual di chamber free of charge with the 5 stage plus.

 

I love my 5 stage from Bulk Reef Supply! Great price and easy to get new filters.
