I use oceanic and reef crystals in a 3:1 ratio, high calcium and mag, best of both worlds.

 

ok im new to reefing, im currently using reef crystals,if i want to use another cause its cheaper, will the switch hurt anything? also, how can you tell how well it works?

 

reef crystals all the way. if it's good enough for the good drs. in their facility it's good enough for me. it's the standard everyone compares their salt to it.

 

ok but right now its just fish and rocks when i get coral should i add any supplements? its got a new formula specialated for coral growth.
