    I've used IO and Tropic Marin Pro Reef. IO has always been ok. I did like thePro Reef a little better cuz it is nicely balanced. But it is a little pricier. I think I will stick with the IO from now on

    I've been using Coralife lately and perform water changes every two weeks. I'm measuring calcium at 540 ppm and magnesium at 1335 ppm in the coralife salt mixed to a SG of 1.026. Since these levels are so high I found that I had to stop dosing calcium to my tank. Doing the water change every two weeks is enough to keep my calcium between 460 and 420. I'm still dosing alkalinity. I can't dose equal parts of alkalinity and calcium because it was making my calcium level go too high.
