    I to use Saliferts since that seems the most popular but havn't compared other brands. I found the best price for Saliferts test kits at AQUATIC TECHNOLOGY

    Thanks Bryce. Good to know. I am pretty happy with what I have now.....but I am always willing to try new kits to get an idea.

    I have used Tropic Marin, Red Sea, Instant Ocean, Hagen,Tetra, and API. Tropic Marin is decent but their instruction book is in about 5 different languages. I wasn't very impressed with Red Sea either in terms of accuracy. Instant Ocean was ok, but they took a long time and they are powdered. API was good. Hagen was probably the best that I have used so far

    But I have heard Salifert and Elos are the most popular.
