Best sand without a mess?

    So whats the best sand you guys have had experience with that would be best for my dragon wrasse to play in that settles fast and doesn't leave the tank all cloudy?

    I like the carribsea fiji pink. not sugar fine but still very aesthetically pleasing.

    Doesn't matter what type of sand, a bio film will hold it down.

    true to some effect

    a bio film will generate after a bit of time but even in my 1.5 year old tank my yellow tail corris wrasse could manage to create a mini sandstorm...

    regardless, i have never had a wrasse that "plays" in the sand. mine only enter the sandbed at night to sleep and emerge in the morning... i wouldnt worry

    Idk but I swear my wrasse loves playing in it, he is always making holes and moving it around and the snails lol. It's fun to watch just makes a mess

    i had a green coris wrasse that would dive into the sand all times of the day and throw it all over. they could be searching for food? he did sleep in the sand also.
