I just added a coral banded shrimp to my 29g Biocube, seems to be doing fine, just stays in his corner and gets cranky when you look at him through the glass (he gets curious and comes up to the glass) i've heard sexy shrimp can agitate some corals and i got the coral banded shrimp because he should add to my CuC as well as nurse any fish ect....

i like cleaner shrimp the best. my coral banded and blood red hide all day and never come out.

my cleaner is out all day and even climbs on my hand when it is in the tank. just my 2 cents.

just thought the coral banded shrimp would help clean any dead scales off fish, thats what the internet says lol..... if i put a cleaner shrimp in the tank with the coral banded and also with an emerald crab, think they'd be okay together?

Some people have had success keeping a coral banded and a cleaner in the same tank but some have had one of them turn into a meal for the other ;) I guess like everything it depends on the rock-work, space of the tank, supply of food and territories. I dont trust crabs I do have an emerald in my tank with 3 cleaner and a peppermint no casualties so far. Cleaner shrimps are always in the open and they climb on your hand when you feed or when you are cleaning your tank,.,, gets kind of annoying when I am trying to feed my corals ;) ... by the way I had cleaners spawn in my tank :0

ya ive had second thoughts about putting the coral banded shrimp in the tank, he doesnt scavenge as much as i thought he would an i probably would've been better off with 2 cleaner shrimps

in a 29 bio cube having a coral banded and cleaner could cause trouble. i think if i could only have one it would def be a cleaner. he tries to clean my tang, and is all over the place scavenging

I have one CBS in my 29g along with some hermits. He does't bother anyone and spends most of his day just hanging on the rock work. He feeds when I feed my fish. Mine is docile but I have heard of CBS's getting blamed for lost fish and being aggressive torwards other inverts.
