Best skimmer for my 30 breeder.

    I am almost finished with my 30 gallon breeder set up with 20 long sump. Total water volume in the neighborhood of 40 total gallons.

    I was looking at the Reef Octopus 110. But I want to get the best I can for this tank. As far as fish I'm looking at maybe two cardinals, one (maybe a pair) maroon clown. Inverts and a decent amount of coral.

    My budget is in the $200 range. How does the Reef Octopus compare to SWC? What are some other brands that might be recommended for a tank my size?

    an AquaC remora would be another HOB model worth considering
    as would a CPR Bak Pak

    although as a current Reef Octopus user myself, based in my experience thus far
    the Reef Octopus model BH1000 in my case, has been a good purchase on my part IMO

    SWC - its the same beast with a different label and as such I would have been equally happy to have got a SWC model
