best skimmer for my tank?

    I am in the process of building a 5.5 gallon sump for my BC14, The sump space is extremely limited, I only have out 12 inches of height to work with, can anyone recommend a good small protein skimmer for this size? I dont have to go with the cheapest option but price is a factor.

    Only 12" height? That will definitely limit you. Eshopps makes a nice nano skimmer that should fit.

    I have a Hydor Slim Skim Nano Skimmer on my Innovative Marine 38 gallon. Easy to put together and install, great skim. I would recommend it.
