Best skimmer under 150

I want to build a berlin sum and wanted to put two skimmers in it that would work for a 120g tank, the ? Is would one or two work better or is it over kill and what skimmer would i use

 

I would run one very good skimmer like an octopus or a bullet

 

Not going to find a appropriate skimmer for a 120 gallon tank for under $150, unless you find a good deal on a used one.
Good skimmers for that sized tank:
Aqua C EV-180
ASM G-2
PM Bullet 1
Octopus Extreme 200

I am not sure about the two skimmer question? Just one appropriate skimmer is fine. Two junk skimmers will not equal one good one, it will just give you twice the headache.

 

The reason i asked about that price cause i knew the response would be more accurateon what kind i can and will spend up to 300 if that make the tank work better

 

well, you can try having a turf scrubber,.....i have an 80 with coral, 4 damsels, 2 percs, and an engineer goby...plus a large carpet anenom.....nitrates and phosphates are at 0. the tank is running about 9 months now skimmer free with no problems....(make sure and do your research first though)
