I have my tank set at 79F and that's what I've heard is best for a reef. Is this correct??

Mine is set to 78-79, but it's been running at 74 to 76 thanks to a relatively cold winter so far and my heaters' lack of ability to keep up.

I used to run at 80, but now i run at 76 bc cost of heating is less, and the water evaporation rate is lower.

I've seen people run beautiful reef systems as low as 72-74.

I run all at 80-82, I like to keep them a bit higher year round as our summers here are hot and the house doesn't always stay at 76-78 and I do not want to use chillers.
